It's that time of year again: time for the Daviess County Community Foundation to announce the recipients of its annual scholarships.
This year, 31 students in the county, which includes Washington, Ind., were awarded $98,700 in scholarships, reports the Journal & Courier.
Among the recipients: Liberty Holtsclaw of North Daviess High School, who will attend the University of Southern Indiana, with a $3,000 scholarship.
Trey Reed of Oakland City University, who will attend the University of Southern Indiana with a $3,000 scholarship.
Erica Kemp of North Daviess High School, who will attend the University of Southern Indiana with a $3,000 scholarship.
Ellie Reed of North Daviess High School, who will attend the University of Southern Indiana with a $3,000 scholarship.
Brynlee Morris of North Daviess High School, who will attend the University of Southern Indiana with a $3,000 scholarship.
Steven Beasley of North Daviess High School, who will attend the University of Southern Indiana with a $3,000 scholarship.
